Stardew Valley features many mysterious Secret Notes that lead players on unique scavenger hunts across Pelican Town. One of the most famous leads is Secret Note #19, which contains a subtle clue pointing directly behind the local Community Center. Uncovering this hidden secret rewards players with a unique statue that adds a fun collectible element to your farming adventure.

Understanding Secret Note 19

To begin this quest, you must first unlock the Magnifying Glass by completing the A Winter Mystery quest during your first winter. Once you have this tool, clearing weeds, chopping trees, or fishing gives you a chance to discover Secret Note #19. Inspecting the note in your inventory reveals a depicted house along with a sequence of directional arrows.

The house shown in the note belongs to 1 Willow Lane, where Jodi, Kent, Sam, and Vincent live. Following the arrows starting from the front door leads you on a specific path through town. However, experienced players can skip following the exact path if they already know the final secret destination.

Locating the Hidden Item Behind the Community Center

The destination indicated by the puzzle leads straight to the area directly behind the Pelican Town Community Center. You will need to walk behind the roofline of the building where your character's view is obscured by the structure. Navigating carefully behind the top wooden fence allows you to reach the hidden tile.

Once positioned behind the Community Center, swing your pickaxe or axe at the wall area near the roof line. Striking the hidden spot will place a special piece of furniture called the Solid Gold Lewis statue straight into your inventory. This statue depicts Mayor Lewis made entirely of shiny gold metal.

What to Do With the Solid Gold Lewis Statue

After acquiring the Solid Gold Lewis statue, you can place it anywhere on your farm or within Pelican Town as a decoration. If you decide to place the statue in Pelican Town, an interesting interaction occurs with Mayor Lewis the following morning. Mayor Lewis will remove the statue, replace it with a rotten plant, and send you an angry letter containing gold coins.

You can actually retrieve the statue again from either Mayor Lewis's bedroom or Marnie's bedroom after the incident. Placing it back in town will trigger the event repeatedly, making it a humorous long-term secret. Understanding how these secrets work ensures you never miss out on the valuable rewards hidden throughout Pelican Town.
